Polish Educational mission to Brazil took place on 14-23 March and was organized within the framework of the Ministry of Science campaign "Ready, Study, Go! Poland" that supports internationalization of Polish universities since 2012. The main purpose of the March mission to Brazil was to promote the Polish academic offer among Brazilian students and encourage them to apply to study in Poland under the scholarship program +Ciência sem Fronteiras+ (Science without borders).
Meetings with students and authorities of the leading Brazilian universities are in the agenda of the Polish educational mission to Brazil. It will take place on 14-22 March. Members include the representatives of eight Polish universities, Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Foundation for the Development of the Education System.
Between 6 and 8 February 2014 11 Polish HEIs took the opportunity Ministry of Science and Higher Education created for them and presented their education offer to Lithuanian students at International Knowledge, Education and Career Fairs STUDIJOS 2014. Dalia Grybauskaitė, President of the Lithuanian Republic officially opened the event.
With over 194 exhibitors from 14 countries and nearly 40 thousand visitors STUDIJOS Fairs is the biggest education expo in the Baltic countries.
Offer of the Polish universities was presented on 14 and 15 February at the International Fair for Overseas Studies in Tbilisi. It is the largest education event in Georgia with the number of visitors exceeding 7,000 people. This year's fourth edition was attended by more than 100 institutions from 12 countries. Among the exhibitors were state and private institutions representing higher and professional education, as well as international and donor organizations that are focused on development and support of education sector.
Poland was one of eleven European countries, and the only one from Central and Eastern Europe, which participated in the seventh edition of the popular higher education fair –, Study in Europe – on Saturday, 28 September at the historical Raffles Hotel. Hosted by the Polish embassy in Singapore, the Polish stand offered a rich variety of materials on educational opportunities for international students in our country. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education supported the embassy's efforts as a part of the ministry’s campaign Ready, Study, Go!
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MSHE) took part in the largest education fair in China – China Education Expo (CEE ). Information about Polish universities and information about the system of higher education in Poland were presented on 1-3 November at the stand READY, STUDY, GO! POLAND prepared by the ministry.
CEE is the largest education fair in China with the number of visitors exceeding 60,000 people. The exhibition was organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of the PRC and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE).
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s participation in the biggest expert conference in Europe is a result of Ready, Study, Go! Poland! Campaign, which has been running since 2012, supporting the internationalisation of Polish higher education institutions. It is the seventh such initiative this year.
